The Trinity Road mosque bought the former Albion Street Health Centre in 2015 and turned it into the Jamia Masjid Rizvia.

However, mosque elders now want the building to reflect its religious nature.

Michael Edwards Associates, submitting a planning statement to Dudley Council, said on behalf of the mosque: "The building still has the visual appearance of a health centre. The front entrance is not easily identifiable and lacks any street presence for way finding for the mosque.

"The application seeks to provide new entrance to provide clear way finding to the mosque and then to the entrance of the mosque.
