The episode, called 'A Deadly Friendship' will shine a light on the West Midlands Police forensics and investigations team as they worked to convict the killer of Kenneth Ford, who was fatally attacked in a flat in Birmingham in 2022.
The main suspect in the killing, Gary O'Neill, was overheard on a bus to Scotland talking of having 'straightened him out'.

When O'Neill was arrested by police in Glasgow, he was found wearing blood-stained clothing and holding his Birmingham to Glasgow ticket.
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "He refused to answer any questions in the interview but forensic analysis of the blood on his joggers, along with phone analysis, were vital in proving where he'd been on the night of the murder."
