The area remained cordoned off on Saturday morning while officers continue with their enquiries.

"CCTV and other enquiries are being carried out today, and we’ll have extra officers in the area today to offer reassurance.

"I’d urge anyone who saw what happened, or who has mobile phone, CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage to get in touch as soon as possible so we can arrest those responsible as quickly as possible."
