'Day of reflection' events reflecting on those lost during the pandemic are set to take place across the Black Country, with people invited to come together and commemorate those who lost their lives.
Sunday (March 9) will mark the fifth anniversary of the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic five years ago.
Now, hospitals, councils and community groups are preparing to hold events to help remember those who lost their lives to the deadly virus, and those who worked on the front lines to keep Britain moving during the lockdown.
In Walsall, residents have been invited to St Michael and All Angels Church, on Hall Lane, Pelsall, where Walsall Council will join with the Walsall Community Network and the Walsall NHS Healthcare NHS Trust to hold a day of reflection service between 4pm and 5pm.

Reverend Alison Morris will give a service, with the Lord Lietenant of the West Midlands, Derrick Anderson CBE and the Mayor of Walsall, Antony Harris, in attendence.
Willenhall CHART Community Hub, on Gomer Street, Walsall, will also hold a reflection event on Saturday (March 8) between 2pm and 4pm, where the group will create a special petal, a memory wall, light candles, and create a memory tree where everyone can take part and remember those lost.
The Aaina Community Hub in Caldmore, Walsall, will also be open to welcome women and their families who lost loved ones in the pandemic.
The event will take place on Monday (March 10), with the group holding activities throughout the day.
Dudley Council will also mark the day of reflection by lighting up the council house building with a yellow light on Sunday (March 9) - a symbolic act to shed light on those lost and remember the struggles that we all went through during the lockdown period.

All are invited to the National Memorial Arboretum on Croxall Street, Alrewas, on Sunday.
The event will give those attending the chance to lay a floral tribute in memory of lost loved ones. The event will take place at the Trees of Life glade between 10am and 4pm.
An open air reflection service will be held at Cannock Chase Forest at 8am on Sunday.
The event will give those who visit a chance to reflect in nature at those who lost their lives and the struggles they went through during the lockdown. The event is open to public, with everyone invited to attend.
Wolverhampton Council has also said that places of worship across the city will be taking part in reflection day ceremonies, including a moment of silence to remember those impacted by the virus.
