While dogs may be a man's best friend, food is everyone's best friend. Thousands of dog fanatics are expected to visit Birmingham for this year's four-day Crufts extravaganza, set to take place on March 6 until March 8.

The brief list of eight restaurants, bars and pubs not only includes venues known for their good and warm welcomings, but also for their love of dogs.

Many of the spots on the list include drinking bowls, food options or even just sweet treats for our four-legged friends, with friendly staff making sure customers of any variety feel welcome. 

So, without further ado here is our list of eight places known for their warm-welcome of their canine customers.

At Gaucho's all well-behaved owners and their dogs are welcome.

The well-known steakhouse specialises in Argentinian cuisine and offers a bowl of water and a dog-friendly experience for all of our four-legged friends.

Centred near Birmingham Snow Hill railway station, the restaurant is perfect for those looking for a bite to eat travelling to or from the event.

As per the group's website, all BrewDog restaurants and hotels welcome dogs of all shapes and sizes, and is perfect for those looking for a quick tipple before heading to Crufts. 

The venue offers a range of specialist Scottish Brewer's craft beers, as well a good range of foods and snacks for those feeling a little peckish.

Located in Birmingham City Centre, this dog-friendly pub offers a great experience for both you and your pooch. 

While the pub allows well-behaved hounds of all breeds and sizes, they kindly request that dogs remain under the tables or out of walkways so no one trips.

This canal-side bar offers a great view of the surroundings that both dogs and humans will thoroughly enjoy. 

The relaxed bus offers a range of beers, gin and spirits and also offers a casual bite to eat including pizzas burgers and sides.

According to the group's website, our furry friends of all breeds are welcome, with the group saying that the ourdoor beer-garden is a great area for puppy-socialising.
