Buses diverted after lorry breaks down on Rowley Regis road

A bus operator has warned of disruptions to regular travel after a lorry broke down on a road in Rowley Regis.

National Express West Midlands has announced two changes to their regular Sandwell routes after a refuse lorry broke down on Oldbury Road, Blackheath, Rowley Regis.

The Services 4 and 4M to Walsall have been forced to diverted after the road became partially blocked, with both routes now instead following Birmingham Roads, Bell End and Mincing Lane. 

On X, National Express West Midlands said: "Due to broken down refuse lorry Oldbury Road, Blackheath. 

"4 and 4M To Walsall will be diverting via: Birmingham Road, Bell End and Mincing Lane.

"We apologise for any disruption to your journey."
