Suspect in Stonnall murder probe still in custody as investigation continues
A man who was arrested on suspicion of murder remains in custody the day after a woman died inside a house in Stonnall.

The man, a 53-year-old from the Lichfield area, was arrested following the incident on Tuesday (February 25), which saw emergency services called to a house in Main Street.
A woman was confirmed dead at the scene. Specialist officers from Staffordshire Police are supporting the woman's family.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to reports of an incident at a private address on Main Street at 7.23am, two ambulances and a paramedic officer attended the scene.
"On arrival we discovered one patient, a woman. Sadly, it quickly became apparent nothing could be done to save her and she was confirmed dead at the scene."
A spokesman for Staffordshire Police confirmed that the man was still in custody and that the county coroner had also been informed.
