Seventh man arrested in connection with delivery driver robbery in Birmingham

A seventh man has been arrested in connection with the knifepoint robbery of a delivery driver in Birmingham.

On November 5, last year, a delivery driver was robbed in Small Heath

A group of men threatened the driver with a knife and stole his load.

A West Midlands Police spokesman said: "Amandeep Singh, 33, was arrested earlier this week by officers investigating the robbery, which happened on November 5 at the junction of Vann Close and Bolton Road.

"Singh is due to appear at Birmingham Crown Court tomorrow (Thursday) charged with conspiracy to commit robbery."

Six other men have already been charged as part of the investigation, and are due to stand trial in June this year charged with robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery.
