Wolverhampton's Marion Taylor, aged 75, said she was enjoying a stroll at Sandwell Valley Country Park's Swan Pool with her partner John Bickley, aged 67, and their West Highland Terrier Milo on Saturday (February 22) when they were approached by two large brown dogs which were not on leads or muzzled.
She claimed the owners failed to take control of them resulting in the two dogs, described as bulldog-type animals, making an attempt to grab her small pet.

"Myself and my partner decided to take Milo around Sandwell Valley at the swan lake. We got to where the swans were and this guy who looked about 60 came towards us with his daughter and her two small children. They had these enormous brown dogs with them which immediately put me on alert because I'd previously experienced big dogs going after Milo.
"Sure enough these two dogs ran over towards Milo and I shouted to the owners to call them back as I could see the danger.
