Man arrested on suspicion of murder after woman dies in Staffordshire village
A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman died in Stonnall.

Police were called at 7.50am this morning (Tuesday) by West Midlands Ambulance Service to reports that a woman had died inside a property on Main Street.
A 53-year-old man, from the Lichfield area, has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody.
The woman’s family are being supported by specialist officers.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to reports of an incident at a private address on Main Street at 7.23am, two ambulances and a paramedic officer attended the scene.
"On arrival we discovered one patient, a woman. Sadly, it quickly became apparent nothing could be done to save her and she was confirmed dead at the scene."
