Man charged with string of offences after knife and drugs recovered and police officer 'injured' in Birmingham
A man has been charged with several offences after police recovered a knife and drugs in Birmingham city centre and an officer was "injured".

Officers detained a 24-year-old man in Hurst Street on February 20.
A Police Community Support Officer was injured at the time, a West Midlands Police spokesperson said.
Remone Molton-Dunkley, of Edgbaston in Birmingham, has now been charged with possessing Class A drugs with intent to supply, having an offensive weapon and assaulting an emergency worker.

He was due to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court today (Monday, February 24).
