A new council planning report stated that the existing rear wooden door and a wooden frame window at the grade II listed Old Town Hall, Wolverhampton premises in North Street will be replaced to match the existing other external doors and the sash window is to be replaced "like-for-like".

"The details of the new door and window have been discussed and agreed with the conservation officer," it further stated.

The applicant Wolverhampton Council added: "The new door and window are to be of hardwood construction to match the existing. It will be paint decorated to match the existing doors and windows."

The building has recently reopened for hearings after being shut for several weeks for heating system repairs.

The documents can be viewed at the Civic Centre main reception desk or online at wolverhampton.gov.uk/planningapplications.

Representations should be made by post to Planning, Civic Centre, St Peter's Square, Wolverhampton WV1 1RP or via email  planning@wolverhampton.gov.uk before March 8. woo
