West Midlands Police has launched an investigation into the incident which took place in Redwood Road on the Walsall/Sandwell border just before 8.40pm on Wednesday (February 19).

A window to a premises was smashed but no one was reported to have been seriously injured, a force spokesman said.

Officers were in and around the area to offer reassurance to the community — Officers remained at the scene on Thursday morning

In a statement, police said several people are believed to have been in the area at the time and appealed for witnesses or people with information to come forward.
