A 21-year-old man has been arrested after police raided a cannabis grow operation in Wolverhampton

West Midlands Police have announced that a 21-year-old man, of no fixed address, has been charged with cultivating cannabis following a police-led raid at a Wolverhampton industrial estate. 

Police executed a warrant at an industrial estate off of Park Lane on Tuesday, February 18, before gaining access to the site and discovering a grow operation of more than 300 cannabis plants. 

Around 330 cannabis plants were seized as part of the warrant, with the 21-year-old being arrested on the day. 

The man is due to appear at Wolverhampton Crown Court today.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "A man has been charged after we discovered hundreds of cannabis plants on a Wolverhampton industrial estate.

"A 21-year-old man of no fixed address has been charged with cultivating cannabis.
