Dudley burger restaurant bids to stay open 24-hours-a day

Fast food giant Burger King wants to keep a Dudley area branch open 24-hours daily.

The chain has lodged an application to Dudley Council for a premises licence to sell meals between 11pm and 5am at the Dudley Road branch in Brierley Hill meaning the site would move to 24 hour operations.

It is currently open from 10am-11pm.

It is the latest Black Country branch to request permission to extend opening times to 24 hours.

Last week Walsall Council gave the company the nod to move to 24-hours-a-day opening a the Willenhall restaurant in Keyway Retail Park in Armstrong Way off the A454 Black Country Route.
