Three men have appeared at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court today charged with drug offences relating to the supply of Class A drugs including heroin and crack cocaine.

Danyal Bashir, aged 25, Usmaan Nazir, aged 24 and Zulnon Khan, 23, appeared in court for a first hearing, where all three were charged with being concerned with the supply of Class A drugs.

As well as the drug supply charges, Nazir and Khan were also further charged with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.

The charge follows the execution of three warrants at addresses in the Pleck area, where the West Midlands Police County Lines Taskforce were supported by officers from the Operational Support unit, Dog Unit, Drone Team and officers from Walsall's Serious Organised Crime and Exploitation Team.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "Acting on information from the public and local intelligence teams our teams regularly carry out warrants in relation to drugs.

"We always investigate any reports we receive and encourage anyone who knows anything to get in touch via Live Chat on our website or by calling 101."
