Martin Gordon stormed into the Samson and Lion, Brierley Hill, on August 11 last year to confront his granddaughter Mia who had removed his wife ashes from the mantlepiece during an argument over childcare.

The row, which included a baseball bat being brandished by Gordon's grandson, and Gordon waving a gun at his granddaughter Mia was streamed live on Facebook.

Firearms officers quickly tracked Gordon, 64, of Brierley Hill Road, down to his Pensnett industrial unit where they found him with a gun, a magazine of blank bullets, a pick axe handle and two tasers, one which was disguised as a mobile phone.

When they searched his home they found a live round of ammunition in the sink. Gordon was immediately remanded in custody and appeared at Wolverhampton Crown Court this morning via video link from HMP Hewell.

Gordon pleaded guilty to possessing a firearm and having ammunition without a licence and two counts of possessing a taser, which is classed as a firearm.
