Revealed: Cause of fire near Stourbridge which tore through businesses
Fire investigators have revealed the cause of a blaze which affected multiple businesses near Stourbridge.

Firefighters rushed to Hayes Lane, Lye, shortly after 5.45pm on Saturday (February 8) to tackle the flames.
A number of nearby roads were closed while they worked at the scene, with residents advised to close their doors and windows.
Fire crews worked through the night to extinguish and contain the blaze, which affected business including Lye Tyres, Club 2000 Fishing Tackle Warehouse and Chatsworth House.

They revisited the site several times throughout Sunday to extinguish hotspots.
In an update at 12.45pm on Monday, a spokesperson for West Midlands Fire Service revealed the blaze had been caused accidentally.
A statement read: "The site has been handed back to the owners, who have been advised to not enter the building due to its structural integrity.

"All firefighting actions have ceased, with a final revisit confirming that no hotspots remain. Boarding up will be organised by insurance companies.
"Attending fire investigators have concluded that this fire started accidentally."

Ajmal Waheed, the co-owner of Lye Tyres, told the Express & Star on Monday it was business as usual at the tyre shop.

He said: "We were closed yesterday (Sunday) although we would have been open, but today apart from a bit more clearing up we have been open to customers who need tyres or pressures taken.

"The tracking machine still needs re-balancing but we would just like to let people know we are open as usual."

However, there appeared to be nobody home at fishing shop Club 2000 Tackle Warehouse on Monday, which is located next door.
