Ozzy the mechanical bull, created for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games. He had been named after Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne, who hails from Marston Green.

One clip, which gained more than 22,000 likes after it was shared online by @jess.spam9295, showed the man sitting on top of the mechanical bull sculpture as crowds gathered in Grand Central to watch.

Another video, which was shared by @yourmonthyourguess on January 19, showed the man swinging from the bottom of the bull on his way back down before attempting to jump over the barriers and being grabbed by security.

The crowd cheered as the security guard held onto the man until a colleague assisted in escorting the man out of the building.

Some TikTok users found the clips hysterical and took to the comments to dub him the "King of Brum". One user wrote: "He's the king of Birmingham."

A second added: "This is to damn funny," while a third commented: "Like we haven't all looked at that bull and wanted to climb it. Bro listened to the impulsive thoughts."

However, other users weren't so impressed, leaving criticism in the comment section. A viewer said: "What a way to get arrested."

Another penned: "What is wrong with him?" Meanwhile, someone else commented: "How’s he disrespecting Ozzy like that?"

Representatives for Birmingham Grand Central and West Midlands Police have been contacted for a comment.
