An appeal for information has been launched by Wolverhampton Council to catch a suspected fly-tipper who ditched a van-load of rubbish on a street in the area.

A video, which was released by Wolverhampton Council as part of the appeal, shows the van quickly swerving onto Temple Street, Bilston at around 3pm on January 28.

Once the driver enters the road, the flatbed of the van is raised, sprays debris and builders' waste, including tyres, dirt and bricks, over the road, leaving it impassable to vehicles.

Street cleaning teams quickly attended the incident to clear the road, with barriers being put into place to protect motorists and walkers alike.

Reward

Wolverhampton Council have now launched an urgent appeal for information relating to the incident, with the council offering a £100 gift card to anyone who offers information that leads to identification and further action taken.
