Drink driving Bridgnorth pensioner, 77, handed road ban and large fine
A drink driver who was caught behind the wheel while more than twice the limit has been handed a road ban and a large fine.

Irene Barr, of St Peter’s View, Highley, Bridgnorth, drove a Mitsubishi Colt in Dowles Road, Bewdley, Worcestershire on October 29 last year.
A test found the 77-year-old had 82 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit in England and Wales is 35mcg.
Barr pleaded guilty at Worcester Magistrates Court to driving while above the legal alcohol limit.
Magistrates banned Barr from driving for 17 months and fined her £461.
She was also ordered to pay £85 in prosecution costs and a £184 victim surcharge, giving her a total court bill of £730.
