Chief Constable Craig Guildford celebrated those who have successfully completed their training through the force's Police Constable Entry Programme (PCEP) or The Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship (PCDA) programmes.
Proud friends and family joined the new recruits at the celebrations on Friday (January 24) before they are posted onto placements across the local police force.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: "There are lots of ways to join us a police officer.
"New recruits join us on a starting salary of £29,907 per annum, regardless of which route you join, and this will increase with yearly increments meaning you can earn over £48,231 within seven years - or more if you are successfully promoted."
