West Midlands Roads have warned road users to expect delays to their regular commutes following the installation of temporary traffic lights on Portway Road, at the junction with Newbury Lane, Oldbury

The temporary lights are expected to remain in place until tomorrow (January 17). 

West Midlands Roads said that the traffic management system was put into place to make way for council works on the roads.

The group said on X: "Portway Road junction with Newbury Lane, Oldbury. 

"Temporary traffic lights in use while work on the main set is undertaken. Scheduled until January 17. Expect delays. Plan Ahead."
