Midwinter Celebration day at Cannock museum helps visitors to shake off the mid winter blues

In the Bleak Midwinter is a famous poem and song, but visitors to the Museum of Cannock Chase on Saturday had plenty of activities for all the family to brighten up what was a freezing cold day.

As part of their "Midwinter Celebration" there were two new exhibitions  to view on Saturday -- Birds of Cannock Chase and Beyond and art inspired by Nancy Foster’s poetry, which officially opened on Sunday, but visitors got an exclusive preview.
