Staffordshire Police has reported that an ‘immigration absconder’ from 2021 has been arrested after they were found in a faulty van.
The force has released an image of the vehicle pictures with wires hanging from its side mirror on its X (formerly Twitter) account this morning (Thursday, January 9).
Officers said the vehicle was stopped on suspicion it was involved in robbery and theft in the Thames Valley Police area. They did not identify whereabouts the arrest was made.
Police said: “This van was stopped having been believed to be involved in a robbery and theft. The passenger was found to be an immigration absconder from 2021. Several defects are also found with the van."
