Nathan Morrison, from Aldridge in Walsall, is now starting his second lengthy spell behind bars for selling serious amounts of drugs.

Morrison, 40, was sentenced at Wolverhampton Crown Court on Friday after pleading guilty to several possessing with intent to supply charges including cocaine, heroin, MDMA and cannabis.

Despite running a major drug empire Morrison refused to implicate anyone else claiming he ran the drugs line all by himself despite getting 80 calls a day from across the country.

West Midlands Police said officers from their County Lines Taskforce teamed up with traffic officers as well as officers from Walsall as part of a pre-planned operation and arrested Morrison on Queen Street, Walsall, on September 5, while he was sitting in his car.

His vehicle was searched and Class A drugs were recovered.

Police also carried out a search of a property on Ingot Close, Walsall, where Morrison was residing and recovered a substantial amount of Class A and B drugs from the address.

DI Mark Robinson, from our County Lines Taskforce, said: “County Lines drug dealers target the most vulnerable, ruining lives and blighting communities. County Lines gangs should know they are in our sights and our work goes on 24/7 throughout the year to stop them and get them off our streets.”

In 2017 Morrison was sentenced to seven years  after being caught with £18,000 worth of drugs and a revolver in Bloxwich.

His Honour Judge Fowler told Morrison he was operating at a high level in the drug dealing economy.

He said: "This is not small time dealing, this is very substantial level of drug dealing. Something which you admit. When you were arrested, you had £21,000 of cocaine, you have heroin, 12,000 of MDMA, cannabis, and you had burner phones. You also had cutting agents so your were making the most of what you had."
