The Wonder in Oldbury reopened December 20 following an investment of more than £255,000 which saw it undergo a complete internal transformation including a total refurbishment of the bar area to create a more modern and welcoming atmosphere.

New photos released by Proper Pubs, the community wet-led operator division of Admiral Taverns, show the scale of the work done to update the interior and exterior of the pub, with operator Adam Riese describing what work had taken place.

He said: “The pub has undergone a complete internal transformation including a total refurbishment of the bar area to create a more modern and welcoming atmosphere.
