I visited the Peaky Blinders-themed restaurant newly opened at Birmingham Airport - fans of the show will love it!
Almost every time I go on holiday I travel from Birmingham Airport - and like most people I have my own 'routine'.

After walking through Duty Free and testing out the expensive perfumes, my mind starts to wander to where I will grab a bite to eat, which is typically breakfast as I tend to book early morning flights.
I usually scout out the Wetherspoon pub to see if there are any seats (which there rarely are) or failing that, have an overpriced coffee and croissant in Pret a Manger.
I might however be tempted to change my usual habits for Shelby & Co, the new Peaky Blinders-themed restaurant and bar which officially opened its doors at Birmingham Airport's main departure lounge on Wednesday morning (December 18).
The eatery is inspired by the hit drama series from its decor and menu right down to the uniforms worn by staff, who donned flat caps and waistcoats.
While I haven't watched all of Peaky Blinders (which I am slightly ashamed to confess as a born-and-bred Brummie) I was still able to appreciate the theming of the restaurant.
There are televisions dotted around the restaurant showing clips from the programme which were specifically edited to remove the more violent scenes, while a large map of Birmingham with a focus on spots frequented by characters on the show, including The Garrison pub, offers the perfect Instagram opportunity, alongside a wall where you can snap your own 'mugshot'.
