The officers from the Road Crime Team at West Midlands Police were called into action in the early hours of the morning after checks on a car in Wolverhampton found it to have been stolen.

Despite being stung by the ANPR Interceptors team, the car continued on, with officers in pursuit, before the car then tried to enter the M6 motorway in the wrong direction.

Tactical contact was used to bring the pursuit to an end and saw the two occupants of the stolen car arrested.
