The trial at Wolverhampton Crown Court has taken over a month and is the fourth trial connected with the murder of father-of-four Mr Zeb in January 2021.

Sikander Ali, 38, of Park Head Road, Netherton, denies murder and possession of a firearm and Mohammed Shazad, 28, of Farm Road also of Netherton who denies perverting the course of justice concerning the disposal of the VW Golf used in the shooting.

Two men have already been found guilty of Mr Zeb's murder. Hassan Tasleem and Gurdeep Sandhu shot Mr Zeb outside his home on January 31, 2021. A bullet hit his head, he was rushed to hospital but died the next day. He was not involved in any of the previous violence but was related to members who were.

Ali was in the car at the time of the shooting but claims he had no idea a drive-by-shooting was about to take place.

The shooting was in response to Choudhary Akeel Hussain being run over by a car in Dudley on January 20 after his brother's appeal of his life sentence for a previous murder in the feud was thrown out. Akeel Hussain was convicted of manslaughter concerning Zeb's killing last year.

The feud began between two families over ten years ago and began with assaults and stabbings but escalated to murder when Yassir Hussain was stabbed to death outside a takeaway in December 2018. The trial continues.
