Merry Hill shoppers to receive surprise treats in festive giveaway

Merry Hill is surprising visitors with 50 free shopping vouchers from December 16 to December 20.

Each day, visitors to the centre in Brierley Hill will be treated to vouchers for retailers ranging from Harvey Norman and Next to Pandora and Schuh Kids, as well as Rituals, Boots and recently opened ProCook. 

On top of the retailer vouchers, shoppers will also be presented with vouchers for a lunch or breakfast at retailers including Soho Coffee, Starbucks, Wagamama’s, Harpers and Marks and Spencer’s.

Ten vouchers will be gifted to surprised visitors each day and all they have to do is shop at their favourite retailer or attend their favourite restaurant and they could be surprised at the till.

The centre has also prepared valet parking for one visitor during the week of gifting too.

Jonathan Poole, Centre Manager at Merry Hill said: “We have had an incredible year, welcoming millions of visitors and we wanted to give a little back to and show our appreciation this holiday season.

“Our research shows how much people still enjoy Christmas shopping in real life, it offers them the chance to spend more time with friends and family, while enjoying the festive atmosphere that stores and a destination shopping centre can offer.

“While December is one of the most wonderful months of the year, we know that the festive season can sometimes feel equal parts stressful and joyous. 

"Our week of surprises will help alleviate some of the stress visitors might feel at Christmas so they can shop with ease and continue to enjoy the range of conveniences the centre has to offer all in a one place, under one giant roof.”
