The now infamous actor sexually abused one girl for seven years, a boy, and three teenage aspiring actresses who attended his acting classes.

During the four week trial, his victims and their family members outlined the trauma Westwood had put them through and faced brutal cross-examination and character assassination including slurs on their mental health and morals.

However, determined to see their tormentor get justice the women, several of whom left the witness stand in floods of tears, found solidarity with each other and took inspiration from each others bravery.

One victim told the Express & Star: "He stood in court and attacked our character, called us liars and invented fake motives for why each would accuse him.

"He tortured his victims further by continuing to deny his crimes; forcing them to bravely give evidence on the stand in front of him. He has torn his own family apart."

She added: "His crimes are unforgivable but we are relieved we got justice."

His litany of crimes included sexual assault by penetration, sexual assault by touching his victims and rape. However, prosecutor Andrew Wallace told Wolverhampton Crown Court the 26 actual charges were just the tip of the iceberg telling the jury the 24-year-old had actually committed "hundreds" of sexual assaults.
