Pursuit of stolen car ends with crash and arrest outside Merry Hill Shopping Centre
A man was arrested following a police chase of a car found to have been stolen from a church.

A late night pursuit of a car found to be stolen from a church ended with a crash, a pursuit on foot and an arrest.
Officers from West Midlands Police began a pursuit of a car which had been stolen and used in other offences, with the pursuit heading into the area near the Merry Hill Shopping Centre.
The male driver of the car then attempted to escape on foot, but was quickly caught and arrested, with a check finding that the man was already wanted for other offences.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "This car was stolen from a church & then used in other offences.
"ANPR Interceptors began a pursuit with it & were then assisted by the Road Crime Team.
"The driver crashed & decamped into Merry Hill before being arrested where we found he was also already wanted for other matters."
