Walsall Council said Reedswood Park, near the Birchills area, and King George V Playing Fields in Bloxwich were among the sites targeted in October.
The local authority said play structures at both parks were damaged "by arson".
Suspected vandals struck at Reedswood Park on October 29, when equipment was thought to have been deliberately set alight at around 6.35am.
A West Midlands Fire Service spokesman said: "A fire engine from Walsall responded, arriving within three minutes of being mobilised.
"This was a small fire, believed to have started deliberately, involving play equipment in a children's park. The fire was extinguished by firefighters using a bucket of water.
"The park was empty when crews arrived. We left the scene shortly before 6.55am."
A second incident occurred just days later at King George V Playing Fields. Pictures taken on November 1 show scorch marks on the ground as the slide and other equipment was damaged.
West Midlands Police said it is investigating both incidents and has stepped up patrols in the areas.
A force spokeswoman said: "We’re investigating after playground equipment was damaged in Reedswood Park on October 29.
"We are also investigating a second incident at King George V playing field between October 31 and November 2.
"We have stepped up our patrols in both areas and are looking at CCTV to identify those responsible.
"Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information is asked to get in touch via Live Chat quoting crime reference number 20/901046/24."
Walsall Council said equipment was also damaged at a park in the Goscote area.
A statement by the local authority reads: "The council has been actively working on a programme to install and enhance outdoor gym and play areas across the borough, following consultation with residents.
"In October, several sites were vandalised, including equipment in Reedswood Park and King George V Playing Fields, which have been damaged by arson. Replacement costs are estimated to be in the region of £95,000.
"Despite this setback, the ambition remains for a secure, resilient, cleaner and greener Walsall, and people and places are prioritised."
Councillor Gary Flint, portfolio holder for health and wellbeing at Walsall Council has urged residents to "take a stand" against anti-social behaviour in the borough.
Mr Flint said: "We want everyone to take pride in the borough and pride in their surroundings. I would encourage residents to consider how they can support their local parks and green spaces.
"We also need everyone to take a stand against antisocial behaviour. If you become aware of any criminal damage or vandalism or have information about suspicious activity, please report it to our Community Protection team or the police.
"If you wish to remain anonymous, reports can be made to Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111. Please help us to achieve our vision of making Walsall a vibrant place where people are proud to live and residents in all neighbourhoods have the same life chances.“
