People have been invited to cast their vote on which straw masterpiece is their favourite on Facebook before a winner is announced, with first place having gone to St John's Nursery on Hednesford Road for the past two years.

The trail has been organised by Friends of Heath Hayes Park, a voluntary group and registered charity which holds community events throughout the year.

Chairperson Jane Johns said: "It is our most popular event, it is very big. It has grown our community quite a bit."

Those visiting the trail have until 5pm on Sunday to vote for their winner on the Friends of Heath Hayes Park Facebook group.
