Two vehicles involved in hit-and-run crash outside Sedgley pub

Two vehicles were involved in a hit-and-run smash outside of a pub in Sedgley.

The incident occurred on the High Street between 11and 11.15pm last night (October 29).

A witness from the scene said the "car overtook a bus and hit another vehicle as it was leaving the Stump pub" and that the driver was left "shaken" by the incident but was helped by staff from the pub.

Photos from the scene showed a police van parked by the wreckage of one of the vehicles involved in the collision. The other driver drove away after the crash.

Ambulance units also reportedly attended the scene. However, no one was injured.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "We were called to a two car collision on High Street at its junction with Wolverhampton Road, Sedgley, last night (Tues) shortly after 11.15pm.

"One of the vehicles drove off following the collision. There were no injuries. Witnesses should contact us via Live Chat on our website or by calling 101 quoting log number 5394 of 29 October."
