Driver injured after car flips onto its roof
A car flipped over and landed on its roof after a smash with a lamppost.
The driver was left injured after the crash in Willenhall's Coltham Road on Monday evening.
Firefighters rushed to the scene, along with paramedics, after reports the black vehicle had overturned near The Swan pub just before 8.20pm.
The man behind the wheel was taken to Wolverhampton's New Cross Hospital, but his injuries were not thought to be serious.
West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman Jamie Arrowsmith said: “We were called to reports of a car on its roof on Coltham Road at 8.18pm last night. Two ambulances and a paramedic officer attended the scene.
"On arrival we discovered one patient, a man, who was the driver of the vehicle. He was treated for injuries not believed to be serious and taken to New Cross Hospital.”
