Mobile phones examined over fatal shooting of Dwaine Haughton
More than 50 mobile phones are being examined as detectives continue a murder probe.

Detective Sergeant Nick Barnes said ‘progress has been made’ since a investigation was launched into Dwaine Haughton’s death in Wolverhampton.
The 24-year-old died in hospital after he was gunned down in Park Village’s Valley Road, in what police believe was a targeted attack.

Speaking at a Black Country Coroner’s Court pre-inquest review, DS Barnes said: “We still have a designated team working on this inquiry. There are a number of CCTV inquiries still ongoing.
“It’s a very long process reviewing all the CCTV. We have designated officers to do that full-time. We have seized in excess of 50 handsets.”
Two people arrested on suspicion of murder have been released on police bail until the end of October.

When quizzed if police were seeking other suspects in relation to the July shooting, the officer replied: “We are principally dealing with two suspects.”
Black Country coroner Mr Zafar Siddique adjourned the hearing for a date to be fixed.
Mr Haughton’s family paid tribute to him following his death, revealing a ‘big hole’ had been left in their hearts.
