Crash closes three lanes on M6 southbound
A multi-vehicle crash has caused heavy delays and tailbacks along the M6 this afternoon.
The collision closed three of four lanes on the M6 southbound, between junction 10a and junction 10 for Wolverhampton.
Motorists faced long delays as they approached the junctions following the incident involving an overturned vehicle.
Central Motorway Police Group, which covers Staffordshire and West Midlands Police forces, said lanes were blocked as emergency services tended to the crash.
Highways England added: "Long delays on approach, back to J11, are now starting to ease."
