McLean celebrates arrival of third child

West Bromwich Albion star James McClean has become a father for the third time.

Republic of Ireland star James McClean and his partner Erin have welcomed their third child this week - Willow Ivy

The Republic of Ireland winger's partner Erin announced the arrival of Willow Ivy on Twitter.

Sharing the first picture of their little girl, who they named Willow Ivy, she wrote: “Welcome Willow Ivy… mammy & daddy love u very much x.”

The couple already have one daughter, Allie Mae, who was born in 2013, as well as son James, who was born in 2015

Following Saturday's win, McClean tweeted: "Great way to start of the season with a win!

"Now time to go home & see my babies & welcome my new wee princess on Monday to the fam."

McClean played the full 90 minutes in Albion's win over Bournemouth at The Hawthorns.

The 28-year-old can be a controversial figure, but he is very popular among Baggies fans and has donated thousands of pounds in recent years to charities.

He joined the club two years ago from Wigan Athletic for £1.5m.

Since his arrival he has cemented himself in Martin O'Neill's Republic of Ireland team after declaring for the country despite living in Derry, Northern Ireland.

He is back on Twitter after previously deleting his account following uproar after he posted a photograph of himself with Martin McGuinness.
