Good Samaritan puts smile on pensioner's face - WATCH
A Good Samaritan has presented a new television set to a pensioner whose home was burgled while he was visiting his sick wife in hospital.
Roy Cooper, aged 85, returned from visiting his wife Diane at New Cross Hospital to discover their bungalow in Compton, Wolverhampton, had been raided.
A 48in-screen TV and a safe were among the items taken.
Now a well-wisher has visited the great-grandfather, who has bowel cancer, with a new television and fitted it up for him.

Family friend Daniel Woodhouse said: "It was a lovely gesture. He arrived with his partner, a Macmillan nurse, and they stayed for a good chat with Roy after setting up the TV.
She also offered to support him in his illness. Roy was very touched.
"Bearing in mind they were complete strangers who just read about what had happened, it was a wonderful response. After all the sad news this week, these two really did bring a smile to Roy's face."
Mr Cooper told the Express & Star he broke down when he discovered the break-in after spending nine hours at his wife's bedside.
Police recovered the stolen safe containing documents and family mementoes from the nearby canal but the contents had been ruined. Police are continuing to investigate the burglary.
