Ironman will stay at Shugborough Estate
Ironman 70.3 will still be held at Shugborough Estate for the next two years despite the fact management of the heritage site is to change hands.

Following the huge success of the inaugural triathlon in the county last year, which included a 13.1 mile run around Shugborough, Staffordshire County Council announced the event would be returning this year and in 2017.
Fears were raised that arrangements could be scuppered after the authority confirmed it was relinquishing its 99-year lease of a substantial part of the estate in October, handing it back to the National Trust which owns it.
But Councillor Mark Winnington, economy, environment and transport chief,
said: "The Ironman Staffordshire event was a huge success and it will take place at Shugborough this year and in 2017."
