Masked robbers attack shopper in armed Rugeley raid
Masked robbers armed with a crowbar attacked a shopper and threatened security guards at a supermarket's cash machine today.

The Co-op in Springfield Road, Rugeley was targeted by three men at about 7.10am.
The attackers, who had their faces covered and were wearing dark clothing, threatened the guards who were inside the store at the cash machine.
One man, believed to be a customer, was pushed to the ground and was treated by paramedics but did not need to go to hospital.
It is believed the men drove off in a white Audi.
The store was cordoned off this morning as police carried out investigations. Four police cars were parked outside and forensic teams could be seen in the building.
The shop was expected to remain shut
At this stage it is not known is any cash was stolen.
One neighbour who has lived on Springfield Road for 30 years said: "It was quite a shock to wake up to this morning.
"I saw the police Corden and thought the worst.
"I go into the shop regularly so I am glad nobody has been hurt because they are all lovely staff." Call police on 101 with information.
It comes just weeks after another Co-op nearby was targeted by robbers who locked four staff in a toilet.
A safe was broken into and cash was taken from the Co-op in Queensway, Rugeley, which was targeted between 5.45am and 6am on March 31 as staff were opening up.
