Security staff at the TK Maxx distribution centre in Green Lane, Walsall, became suspicious when CCTV kept showing Zakir Hussain going out to meet people in their car park, Wolverhampton Crown Court was told.

Officers moved in after they spotted 30-year-old banned motorist Hussain driving a white Ford Focus away from the distribution centre on October 11, the court heard.

They found eight wraps of cocaine hidden – worth £166 – in a secret compartment under the steering wheel, and £138 cash.

Officers also went to his home in Farringdon Street, Birchills, Walsall where a sniffer dog discovered a nail file and weighing machine with traces of cocaine concealed behind a false panel along with over £1,000, continued Mr Russell.

Father of three Hussain claimed he had to pay off his own drug debt.

He admitted possessing cocaine with intent to supply and driving while disqualified.
