Woman hit by train at Smethwick station was 'lying on tracks'
A woman who died when she was hit by a train had been seen lying on tracks at a Smethwick station, an inquest heard.

Anastasia Josef-Reed, of Sandon Road, Edgbaston, was struck at Smethwick Rolfe Street on August 11 at 8.09pm.
Assistant coroner for the Black Country, Dr Andrew Thompson, said the driver had gone round a corner and 'saw her lying on the tracks looking at the train'.
The 60-year-old, who was divorced, died of multiple injuries. The inquest was opened and adjourned at Smethwick Coroners Court.
