Third teenager held in probe on death of Ben Morutare
A third teenager has been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder in connection with the murder of Walsall 16-year-old Ben Morutare.
The 17-year-old from Birmingham has now been released on police bail. It comes after two other 17-year-olds, appeared at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court on Saturday in connection with the death of Ben, who was stabbed in the leg outside the Smethwick Home Guard & Old Comrades Club in the early hours of July 28. He later died in hospital.
The pair, who are both from Birmingham, are charged with violent disorder and one of the youths also faces a charge of perverting the course of justice. They were both bailed.
A 17-year-old, who can also not be named for legal reasons, has previously appeared in court accused of his murder.
