Cygnets along River Sow are hit by floods

Heavy rain has affected the number of cygnets along the River Sow in Stafford.

Only one brood has been seen this year after torrential rain between April and June flooded nests. At least two broods have been seen along the river for the past two decades.

More torrential rain was due today across the West Midlands.
