The event was returning to the venue after last year's success which saw the show back at the country estate after a 10-year absence.
Among the highlights were a 1912 Cadillac Tourer and a 1913 Chalmers owned by Clive Hawley, of Stafford.
Almost 50 clubs were represented including Jaguar Enthusiasts, MG Owners, Mercedes Benz, Capri Clubs, Porsche, Rover and Stags.
Locally, there were stands from the Staffordshire Classic Car Club and 25 vehicles from the Potteries Vintage and Classic Car Club.
Geoff Price, of Transtar Promotions, which organises the event, said it was one of the largest displays of its kind ever come together for a one-day event.
"It was a really fantastic show. There were classic cars from all eras and all different makes and models. The Shugborough Estate is the perfect setting for a classic event like this."
