Fears Brierley Hill Labour Club could stay empty for years
Fears are growing that a former Black Country social club could remain empty for years after it failed to attract interest from potential buyers.

Fears are growing that a former Black Country social club could remain empty for years after it failed to attract interest from potential buyers.
Since Brierley Hill Labour Club closed down in October there has only been one viewing and no offers to buy the building.
Administrators say they are still positive that the site will be sold but residents are worried it will become a magnet for anti-social behaviour. The club in Pearson Street went into administration after it started losing thousands of pounds when business plummeted.
It is now on sale for £325,000 and is being marketed as an events venue.
But buyers could consider turning it into living accommodation said Linda Clayton, insolvency manager at Begbies-Traynor.
She said: "It is too early to say at this stage because we have had no serious interest.
"The property is still being marketed and we will continue to try and sell it."
Jim Charles, 68, of Talbot Street, said he hoped a pub chain would take it over.
He added: "It's very sad that the club closed down and it really is missed.
"We just want something to be done with it now - the longer it's empty, the more likely it will be vandalised and attract gangs."
The club was often packed on election nights and was used for Labour Party meetings until the late 1990s.
