A Brierley Hill man has been arrested in Crete on suspicion of beating his 21-year-old girlfriend to death.

Chelsea Hyndman, from Castleford, West Yorkshire, died on Monday after being admitted to hospital in Heraklion.

Greek police said she suffered ruptured internal organs, "evidently caused by the use of physical violence".

Luke Walker, 22, from Brierley Hill, West Midlands, was arrested on Sunday. The Foreign Office said the families were being given consular assistance.
